The forum is up and running in it's new home. Come and have a look.

Everything should be working, including search.

Move Update #1

Things seem to be going OK so far, bulk of the stuff is moved. Some other things to check and DNS changes to finalise.

Hopefully all of that will be cleared up by tomorrow afternoon.

Forum Offline for Move

The forum has been turned off so it can be moved to it's new home on a brand new virtual private server. This should solve the recent problems and allow for the expansion of a growing forum.

Keep your eye on this blog for updates on progress. At this stage it should be up and going again some time on Friday December 14.

Sorry for the inconvenience but this should result in a better operating forum.

Good News

The forum has found a new home. Very soon now it will be living in a virtual private server. This should overcome the recent problems including the search function being turned off.

Stay tuned for news on the move.

When the time comes the forum will be off the air for a couple of days while it makes the move to the new home. Plenty of notice will be given however keep your eye on this blog to stay in touch with what's happening.

At this time the possible move date is Wednesday 12/12/12

The forum should be back up and going on Friday 14/12/12

Worthless clowns at Ventraip (the crappy hosting service the forum is on) just suspended the account for no reason claiming it was using too many resources. What a croc.

I am now looking for a professional hosting service.

Finally, they got their act together and we're back. (Wonder for how long ....)

The hosting service for the forum has network issues and the forum is currently unreachable as at 8:00am 30/03/2012

Update when I know more.

Maybe there is a use for this.

I will use it for announcements and info about the forum. for example, if the forum is down for maintenance or upgrade or whatever, I will put the info here so people could see what's going on.
